Structure and electronic structures of ultra light materials

This session will explore the fascinating behavior of materials containing light elements under pressure. Unusual properties such as anomolous melting behavior, superconductivity and unique bonding strategies have been observed in these systems. Experimentalists and theoreticians will present their latest cutting edge results and predictions in this session.
